About the Role
The Impact Producer will work directly with the TV Foundation’s Programmes Director to deliver our impact initiatives. In the first instance, this will be focused on our climate content initiatives on a fixed term basis, with the potential to extend the contract depending on experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to support and promote impact storytelling across the TV industry and join the team behind one of the industry’s biggest events, the Edinburgh TV Festival. The successful applicant will bring their experience in impact producing or events production to help shape the direction of compelling storytelling that connects us all to the most pressing issues.
The role is based primarily in the Foundation’s central London offices.

Person Specification:
Essential:
- Strong organisational skills to plan and prioritise while responding flexibly to changing priorities
- A self-starter with a pro-active approach
- Experience working in event management
- Desire to drive positive change
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office
Desirable
- Understanding of the climate crisis and the role TV can play
- Experience of impact storytelling in the TV industry
- Experience of working with trusts and foundations
Responsibilities:
- Assist with shaping and delivering our approach to impact for the Foundation’s climate content initiatives.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of these initiatives.
- Assist with building relationships with potential speakers, partners and participants.
- Coordinate the production of events, including liaising with venues and contractors.
- Coordinate assets for design materials online and in print.
- Coordinate impact evaluation.

Benefits
Salary: £31,000 pa pro rata
Fixed Term Contract: 5 months
