About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Impact Unit as the Impact Manager for our career development programmes. You’ll be joining the team behind the TV Foundation and the Edinburgh TV Festival to deliver our signature career development programmes: The Network, Visionaries, TV PhD and our flagship event the New Voice Awards.
The TV Foundation’s Impact Unit helps shape the way the TV industry works to make it open to all; a place where new perspectives, ideas and stories thrive. The Edinburgh TV Festival brings together the TV industry, featuring captivating discussions, masterclasses and panels, alongside networking opportunities and social events.
You will work closely with our Impact Director to design and deliver these programmes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for producing development programmes, a commitment to diversity in the industry, and the empathy and compassion to spot potential and support our participants to take the next leap in their TV career.

Person Specification:
Essential:
- A track record in delivering excellent career development, education or training, programmes for people working in the creative industries.
- Ability to spot potential and support people taking a leap in their career or personal development.
- Experience of managing events.
- Strong organisational and admin skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Great interpersonal and collaborative skills, able to build relationships across the team, with our programme participants and our supporters.
- Proficient in using databases and a range of software including Office.
- Passion for television and a commitment to promoting diversity and new talent within the industry.
Desirable
- Experience facilitating or chairing events.
- Experience in designing career development programmes
- Connections across the TV industry, particularly in talent management.
- Experience managing marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver our suite of career development programmes from managing the application and selection process through to producing the programme activities.
- Working with our marketing team, manage the outreach and marketing of the career development programmes and Awards, and all design materials for the programmes.
- Coordinate the production of events for the career development programmes, including liaising with venues and contractors; and liaising with the speakers, hosts and participants.
- Build close working relationships with a range of industry partners to provide connections and opportunities for our programme delegates.
- Oversee the management of records within our database, which tracks the career development programme.
- Coordinate feedback and evaluation for all activities.
- Assist with the production of the New Voice Awards.
- Deliver ongoing support to our Alumni network.

Benefits
Salary: £43,000 pa pro rata
Fixed Term Contract: 9 months from January 2026 with potential to extend subject to funding.
Part-time. Four-day working week.

The role is based in our London office, with some degree of flexible working, but an average of 3 days in office per week.
