Day Rate: £140 (approx. 22 days between 10/07/2023 and 25/08/2023)
Must be available to work in Edinburgh on the 10th and 11th July for a Production recce and from 21st to 25th August for the Festival
Travel and accommodation to be provided if not based in Edinburgh.

Edinburgh TV Festival
The Edinburgh TV Festival is one of the most prestigious media events in the UK, bringing together delegates from across the globe to discuss the changing trends and major issues in the TV industry. The Festival is famous for its provocative, informative and entertaining sessions, all created by seasoned TV producers ensuring they are of the highest quality and relevance.
Offering more than 60 keynotes, debates and masterclasses, plus scores of networking opportunities, we draw around 2200 professionals from across the globe.

Role
We are looking for an Event Manager who will be working closely with the Festival Team as well as our partners, venues and suppliers.
The core purpose of this role is to manage the planning and the delivery of events and parties throughout the festival. These will include breakfasts, drink receptions, parties, and dinners.

Responsibilities
• Ensuring the smooth running of all networking events and parties throughout the festival period.
• Working closely with venue production teams, suppliers, and partners.
• Overseeing on-site event set up and operations.
• Being the main person of contact for partners, venues, suppliers and delegates at the events and parties.

Requirements:
• At least 2 years’ experience in Event Management.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Able to multitask and prioritise work.

Desirable:
• Experience working with Airtable or similar online databases for collaborative planning
• Knowledge and experience of working with or in the TV industry
