SOCIAL MEDIA AND CONTENT EXECUTIVE
The Edinburgh TV Festival is the home of independent debate in TV. Each year, we offer more than 60 keynotes, debates, and masterclasses, plus scores of networking opportunities. We draw a crowd of over 2,000 industry professionals from across the globe who join us to learn, connect, and have fun.
About the Role
The Social Media and Content Executive will work directly with the TV Festival and TV Foundation team to provide support for the planning, implementation and delivery of the Edinburgh TV Festival and The TV Foundation’s social media and content strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Campaigns; from planning, designing, implementation and reporting.
Keeping the website up to date with all Festival and TV Foundation news.
Maintaining social media accounts and generating monthly content plans and reports.
Manage the contra relationship with TV Festival media partners.
Provide team wide support on Festival events.
Creating presentation decks and slides that support Partnership Team and wider Festival teams.
Support with content upload and asset creation for The TV Festival Channel.
What we need:
Essential
Strong organisational skills to plan and prioritise while responding flexibly to changing priorities
A self-starter with a pro-active approach
Have an acute attention to detail and organisation
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in using Content Management Systems, preferably Airtable, Canva, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office.
Desirable
Understanding and knowledge of the TV industry.
Video Editing experience.
Experience of working for a festival or events-based organisation.
Benefits
Salary: £28K per annum
We support flexible and remote working in line with the role’s key requirements. Some days required to work at the Edinburgh TV Festival offices, London, EC1X 3BR
Full time, 12 month FTC (Starting Oct 2023) with potential to transition to permanent at end of contract subject to continued funding
