Rizwana Hamid is the Director of Muslim Council of Britain’s Centre for Media Monitoring, which challenges and holds to account mainstream media for negative or biased Muslim coverage. She has an MA in International Journalism and over 35 years of experience at BBC and C4 and her films have led to policy changes and been used as evidence in major enquiries. Has covered Gulf War, fall of Berlin Wall, end of Apartheid, Rwanda genocide, and wide experience as media and communication skills trainer & consultant.
