Liz Lewin started her career as a reader at the BBC before going to Tiger Aspect to work on Playing the Field. Four series of Teachers, 20 Things To Do Before You’re 30 and Lisa Mcgee’s The Things I Haven’t Told You later she moved to Company Pictures where she developed and produced Lisa McGee’s comedy series London Irish. Then followed a move to Channel 4 commissioning – first in comedy, then drama where she looked after shows including Raised By Wolves and The End of the Fucking World. Alongside her commissioning role, she exec-produced Crashing for Big Talk, My Mad Fat Diary for Tiger Aspect and developed and exec-produced Derry Girls with Lisa Mcgee. She is currently in Sky’s drama team. She continues to work on Derry Girls.
