Stef is a Paralympic long jumper who competes for Great Britain. Stef is a five-time world record holder, reigning world champion (London 2017 long jump), and triple Paralympic medallist in the long jump (2016, 2012) and 200m sprint (2008). She has an honours degree in biochemistry, and away from the track works as a broadcaster, professional speaker, actor, and model.

She was awarded an MBE in the 2018 New Year Honours list for services to Paralympic sport.

Away from the track, Stef is a celebrated broadcaster, where she works both for Channel 4 on their athletics and Paralympic Games coverage, and for BBC, most notably on their Invictus Games output, including October’s event in Sydney. This year Stef swapped the running blades for chef’s whites, when she reached the finals of BBC 1’s Celebrity MasterChef series, and also released her first film, as the leading role in the award-winning The Energy Within. In 2015, Stef made history by becoming the first British amputee to ever model at London Fashion Week, and has also appeared in fashion campaigns for several leading high-profile fashion houses.
