Sue Vertue began her producing career at Tiger Aspect with Mr. Bean. She went on to produce Emmy award winner The Vicar of Dibley. Sue then had an idea for a flat share between a gay man and a straight girl, got Jonathan Harvey on board and created Gimme, Gimme, Gimme which was frequently top of the BBC2 ratings. After that, she moved over to work at Hartswood Films and here she has produced all four series of the very popular Coupling, as well as many other successful shows. Over the last ten years Sue has been busy as producer and Executive producer on all four series and a one off special of the multi award winning worldwide smash hit drama Sherlock for BBC1 and has recently exec produced Dracula, both of which were co-created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss. She is on the PACT Council, is a Board Member of the National Film and Television School and is CEO of Hartswood Films
