Sophie Leonard is Director of Programmes at Minnow Films.  She joined Minnow in 2016 as Executive Producer of the series SAS: Who Dares Wins, which is about to start shooting it’s 8th series.  Since then she has Executive Produced the highly acclaimed Valley Cops and Canny Cops, a new 6 part series of Channel 4, The Yorkshire Jobcentre and 4 part series Manctopia: Billion Pound Property Boom for BBC Two, as well as Ibiza Dreams for BBC Three and the 90 minute documentary about coercive control, The Case of Sally Challen for BBC Two.  She is currently also Executive Producing a new documentary for BBC One with Katie Price about disability.

Previous to joining Minnow, Sophie worked across documentary factual singles and series, both as director and producer. She was responsible for Series Producing the first series of the hugely popular Channel 4 series First Dates and also cast Lord Sugar on the first series of The Apprentice.
