Poppy Dixon recently joined Sky as Director, Documentaries and Factual, where she looks after all original commissioning for Sky Documentaries, Sky Nature and Sky Crime.

Previously, she spent seven years at RAW, in London and New York, both producing documentaries and in the role of Head of Development for Feature Documentaries and Specials. Her credits at Raw, in development and as a producer, include Bart Layton’s BAFTA-winning feature The Imposter and acclaimed hybrid movie American Animals, BAFTA-nominated Three Identical Strangers and The Prince of Pennsylvania, for ESPN’s ‘30 for 30’ strand.

She subsequently worked alongside Simon Chinn at Lightbox, producing Ursula Macfarlane’s Untouchable, which premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival before airing on the BBC and Hulu.

More recently she was Development Executive at Arrow Pictures, working with John Smithson to build a slate of documentaries, premium factual and scripted content. She is also currently producing a feature documentary with Met Film, directed by Sam Hobkinson, which will be completed in early 2021.
