The television industry’s brightest new creative talents were celebrated at the second Edinburgh TV Festival New Voice Awards last night, and the winners announced.

At the ceremony, hosted by actor, comedian, rapper and influential digital talent, Michael Dapaah, at Rich Mix in London, awards were presented in a range of disciplines including two new categories: Best Agency for New Talent and the Stage to Screen Award.

The New Voice Awards are the Edinburgh TV Festival’s recognition of television’s undiscovered creatives and companies who do the most to support them.

New Voice Award 2019 host, Michael Dapaah

“Creativity is at an all-time peak, whether you’re six or 60 years old we can all have a crack at it. Thanks to various mediums whether that be television, the internet, theatre, radio, there’s never been a better time for fearless, budding creatives to bring their ideas to life. The world is oozing with talent and there is an audience who are ready to consume new projects 24/7. There’s never been such a hunger for new talent, and trust me everyone is watching.”
