The network
Think TV's not for you? Think Again!
The Network brings together new entrants to the industry to make connections and gain practical insights that will help you find your first TV role.
This free entry-level access programme for anyone, whatever their age, who wants to start a career in television. We’re here to open doors for people that wouldn’t otherwise find it easy to get a start in TV. With that in mind we prioritise people that are historically under-represented in the sector in terms of ethnicity, disability and working class background.
We are seeking dynamic, creative and good-hearted people that are looking for their first role in the TV industry. To equip you with the skills and tips that open the door to working on TV.
Taking part in The Network gives you access to masterclasses and workshops led by industry professionals at the Edinburgh TV Festival, including a workshop from BBC Studios Drama Productions and their EastEnders team. You will also receive accommodation in Edinburgh, a year of mentoring from an industry professional, and access to a community of supportive TV professionals.

The Network is Perfect for you if you are ...

- Brand new to the industry and not sure where to start
