Wayne is one half of Casting partnership Crampsie Linge Casting, which he established in 2023 with Julia Crampsie; former Head of Casting at BBC Studios.
He began his career in community theatre; this continues to inform this work. He’s passionate about championing emerging on-screen talent and developing opportunities for those who are often overlooked and marginalised or don’t consider a screen career to be within their reach; especially those with working-class backgrounds.
Credits include; We Hunt Together (S2), Father Brown, Sister Boniface Mysteries, Our Girl and Grandpa’s Great Escape.
Wayne is a member of the Casting Directors’ Guild of Great Britain & Ireland.
