Toby is a creative exec responsible for developing and overseeing the delivery of original series for Netflix UK. He was Creative Lead on BABY REINDEER, BLACK DOVES, TOXIC TOWN and ADOLESCENCE. Toby also worked across FOOL ME ONCE, THE CROWN S6 and KAOS, plus upcoming shows such as Steven Knight’s HOUSE OF GUINNESS and Lisa McGee’s HOW TO GET TO HEAVEN FROM BELFAST.
Toby joined Netflix from Chapter One Pictures where he was an Executive Producer and a founder member of the company. There, Toby was EP on Jack Thorne’s BEST INTERESTS (BBC) and the multi-award-winning BOY SWALLOWS UNIVERSE for Netflix ANZ. Before Chapter One, Toby enjoyed a stint in the BBC’s Drama Commissioning team, having previously produced KIRI for Channel 4/Hulu, and he was Script Exec on both David Hare’s COLLATERAL (BBC/Netflix) and the Peabody and BAFTA-winning NATIONAL TREASURE (Channel 4/Hulu).
