Sophie Park

Sophie Park is a London-based screenwriter, raised on TV and movies, drawn to dark comedies that dig deep into the morally grey areas. She honed her craft in visual storytelling at MUBI, as well as working as a video editor for commercial and creative projects. Winning a BFI screenwriting award for her thriller ‘Jump’, she went on to write and direct comedy-short ‘Commitment’ and then mini-doc ‘What Are We Doing’, a finalist at the Leeds International Film Festival. She delivers bold, risk-taking writing that, ultimately, aims to help people feel less alone in confronting what we struggle to articulate—with others and ourselves.
