Shay Elliot

Shay is a National Film and Television School MA Producing graduate, Toledo Scholar and RTS Best Postgraduate Drama winner.  Most recently she became one of the WFTV Kay Mellor Screenwriting Lab 2023 cohort. 

Londoner, raised in the East Midlands and a child of the Windrush generation – her stories reflect the idiosyncrasies of our everchanging culture and most importantly putting the spotlight on unheard voices, capturing the vibrancy and bold humour that has become a rich part British culture. A true crime aficionado who loves stories about the women who have subverted their allocated roles to get ahead in a man’s world.
