Sarah Battensby

Originally from Aberdeenshire, Sarah is an archive assistant producer based in Glasgow with over 7 years’ experience in the television industry. She started her career working across genres, studio and location then specialised in archive research in 2020 after completing an MSc in Information Management and Preservation, and a placement at the BFI National Archive. Sarah is passionate about the inclusion of archive footage in television productions, and furthering understanding about archive usage. When she’s not raiding the literal archives or organising a perfect colour-coded log on Excel, she can be found painting or in Scotland’s great outdoors.
