With extensive experience in non-scripted television, I have built a career delivering complex productions for major broadcasters, leading projects from development through to final delivery. As a Head of Production, I specialise in managing large teams, overseeing high-value budgets, and creating the systems, schedules, and workflows that keep ambitious productions running smoothly under pressure.
I work closely with Executive Producers, creative teams, and commissioners to balance editorial ambition with practical delivery, bringing a calm, solutions-focused approach to fast-paced and challenging environments. My experience spans production management, operational leadership, compliance, logistics, post-production, and business development, with a strong reputation for problem-solving, team leadership, and delivering high-quality programming to tight deadlines.
Alongside production leadership, I play a key role in pitch development, budgeting, and shaping projects from concept to commission. I’m passionate about supporting emerging talent, building editorially strong teams, and sharing practical insight into the realities of working in unscripted television production.
Responsibilities/ Shows I Oversee
As Head of Production at Nine Lives Media, I lead production strategy and operational management across multiple productions simultaneously, overseeing budgets, schedules, and cost reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. I build and manage production teams including Production Managers, Producer Directors, Assistant Producers, Editors, Coordinators, and freelance crew, while negotiating contracts with talent, suppliers, and key contributors. My role includes creating and overseeing production schedules, logistics, staffing, and workflows, ensuring compliance with broadcaster guidelines, health and safety, duty of care, and legal requirements. Working closely with Executive Producers, commissioners, and creative teams, I balance editorial ambition with operational delivery, managing risk assessment, problem-solving, and crisis management throughout production. I also supervise post-production and final delivery processes, develop systems and operational processes to improve efficiency and scalability across the company, and play a key role in project development through pitch budgeting, deck creation, and helping shape new productions from concept to commission.
