If a show’s considered ‘Dad TV’ or ‘slightly demonic’ by her Kenyan parents, Michelle’s writing it. She lives for high-stakes, morally complex drama packed with heart, hope, and chaos. She’s so thrilled that THE OATH, her medical crime thriller, earned her a spot on All3Media’s New Writers Collective!
In the last six months alone, Michelle has been selected for incredible opportunities, including mentorship schemes with Paramount and Bloomsbury Publishing, a bursary for Scriptwriters & Co’s Peak District Writing Retreat, and the publication of her book’s first chapter in Breadfruit Magazine!
Michelle is currently in the writers’ room for FIGHTLAND, 50 Cent’s boxing crime drama for STARZ. Before this, she built up her Scripted Development experience working for Firebird Pictures, VAL, Banijay, and Hat Trick Productions.
Outside of TV, Michelle is a ONE Campaign Youth Ambassador for the UK, advocating to make Africa a key player on the world stage. And if all of this doesn’t sound busy enough, she’s supposed to be redrafting ROANOKE (her intense survival drama)… but you’ll probably find her playing Fortnite instead.
