Melissa Elena Reiner

Melissa began her career as a violinist, performing in Hollywood on shows like The Grammy Awards and Family Guy, plus touring with artists like Andrea Bocelli and the Jonas Brothers. Currently based in London, she can be heard on movie soundtracks like The Hobbit and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Her work as a musician inspires her to write screenplays and novels, as well as directing short films, and she is currently in post-production on a micro-short starring Eliza Butterworth (Netflix’s The Last Kingdom).

After being chosen for the New Writers Collective 2023, Melissa’s scripts are under consideration with various international production companies and broadcasters. While juggling both writing and motherhood, Melissa continues to record, perform, and tour across four continents with artists like Rihanna, Adele, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
