Leanne has over 15 years experience programming and commissioning world class performance events in a variety of art forms at the prestigious Barbican Centre. She has joined Sky on its new Assistant Commissioner programme, a two-year scheme designed to attract creatives from outside the traditional commissioning pool in order to bring fresh perspectives.

At the moment I am predominantly focused on Sky Arts. We are looking for shows with broad appeal, talk-ability and the potential to get more people accessing and participating in the arts. I am excited to hear big, bold, wild ideas that showcase the best of British art and performing arts in innovative ways. I am passionate about supporting new and diverse voices in the creative industries and am keen to hear from companies who are shining a light on art for and by underrepresented communities.
