Kalaiyashni Puvanendran

Kalaiyashni is passionate about content that connects, reflects and affects society. She co-developed ITV’s global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy and helped to establish its £80M Diversity Commissioning Fund, driving change towards racial and disability equity in who tells their stories and gets opportunities in production. She serves on BAFTA’s Learning, Inclusion and Talent Committee and helped design the Film and TV Charity’s Reel Impact programme. Previously, at global health charity Wellcome, Kalaiyashni worked to establish its D&I Priority Area, co-led its anti-racism programme, and developed its anti-racist principles and toolkit.
