Justin Binding

Justin Binding is an award-winning commissioning executive working across factual and documentary, with a focus on programmes that feel both distinctive and accessible. His credits include Wild Ireland, a Grierson Award winner, as well as The Wild Gardener and Back from the Brink / Barra’s Return to the Wild, an EBU co-production that brings a very human perspective to conservation stories. His work has also been BAFTA nominated.

He tends to favour projects with a strong point of view, often with a natural world or environmental angle, but always driven by character and storytelling rather than message. Whether it’s landscape-led series or return-to-the-wild narratives, the aim is to make them feel warm, engaging and widely accessible.

He is currently working on Stacey Dooley Cleans Up, continuing that mix of personality-led storytelling and real-world issues for a broad audience.
