Inclusion has always been at the heart of Eli’s work, whether that is supporting disabled contributors on-screen, sharing stories from the edges of society, or mentoring new entrants. Eli took this passion from production to her role as Disability Lead at thinkBIGGER! She has had the opportunity to work closely with organisations such as BAFTA & ScreenSkills to create disability inclusive practises as well as supporting individuals who have been previously excluded from the industry to get their foot in the door via prestigious training schemes such as Channel 4’s Production Trainee Scheme. In her spare time she does powerlifting, open water swimming and watches plenty of TV.
Eli’s knowledge and expertise in disability and her empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by disabled talent through her own lived experience means that she is a brilliant ally . She offers production companies practical solutions understanding how they can make adaptations and accommodations to let disabled talent thrive.
