Farook Qais

Farook Qais, pronounced “case,” is a British-born Muslim of South Asian heritage. Having started creating characters from the age of 5, Farook’s stories stem from his life experiences with a common theme of explosive emotive drama. He’s written novels, but his strength is writing film and TV. Farook’s excited to be invited into the New Writers Collective on the back of winning the feature category of Roadmap’s Writers’ flagship “JumpStart” competition with “Hi, Libido.” Outside of screenwriting Farook’s all about “the game.” Football, NBA, NHL, NFL; where’s Farook?
