Emily Renée

Emily Renée is a writer from London interested in epic, character-driven dramas across different genres. Her TV pilot Counterfeit, a crime thriller about a father and daughter set in the world of art forgery, won Grand Prize at the Shore Scripts 2024 Competition and was a Finalist for the 2025 ScreenCraft Competition. She’s also developing a dystopian drama set in the British military and a Gothic fantasy epic set in Victorian London. Honesty (BBC Film/ BFI/ Somesuch), which she co-wrote and starred in, was nominated for Best Short at the BIFAs and the London Critics Circle Awards in 2023.
