Danusia Samal

Danusia Samal is an actor, writer & campaigner from London. Her credits include Gangs of London (Sky); Bodies (Netflix); Ghost in the Shell & The Serial Killer’s Wife (Paramount); Black Cake & The Great (Hulu) and Tyrant (Fox). In 2018 she won the Theatre503 International Playwriting Award for her play ‘Out of Sorts’, which was later shortlisted for the George Devine Award. Danusia co-founded Equity for a Green New Deal’s Green Rider campaign – bringing screen workers together to make our industry greener and fairer. She is passionate about tackling climate change through an intersectional lens, with an emphasis on collective action through our workplaces and areas of expertise. Danusia is excited to join a team of fellow Changemakers, seeing it as both a learning opportunity and a chance to collectively change the TV landscape.
