Coming from a family of doctors, Catherine assumed she would also go down that route, but soon discovered she was too squeamish for it… So, she decided to make documentaries about science and medicine, instead. She loves getting her teeth into a subject matter, is known for extracting fascinating stories from a huge wealth of complex content and enjoys nothing more than interviewing people from all walks of life – be this Nobel-prize winning cell biologists, avalanche survivors or migrant farm workers turned world-class neurosurgeons.
