Ashley King

Ashley King is a London-based screenwriter and story editor passionate about crafting character-driven stories with heart and humour. Her work has been recognised in top competitions, including as a finalist in the Shore Scripts Feature Competition, a semi-finalist in the BlueCat Screenplay Competition, and a quarterfinalist in Script Pipeline. In 2023, Ashley took part in the Channel 4 Screenwriting Mentorship Scheme, and her work has been featured in Philip Shelley’s Script Library. She is particularly interested in exploring genre through bold, female-led stories that balance emotional depth with high-concept ideas.
