As Director of Development, Alice oversees Sister’s slate and creative strategy. Having joined Sister in 2017 as Development Executive and then Head of Development, she has sat at the heart of the company’s creative team throughout its growth. She Script Edited Will Sharpe’s Flowers II, was Associate Producer on comedy-horror series The Baby, created by Sian Robins-Grace and Lucy Gaymer for HBO & Sky Atlantic and developed projects including Kaos (Charlie Covell for Netflix), Eric (Abi Morgan for Netflix), Landscapers (Sky Atlantic/HBO), The Power (Amazon) and This is Going to Hurt (BBC/AMC) and securing book adaptations such as The Life Inside by Andy West – the basis for Dennis Kelly’s BBC series Waiting for the Out. She Executive Produced The Following Events are Based on a Pack of Lies by Penny Skinner and Ginny Skinner (BBC One) and David Ireland’s wild thriller Coldwater (ITV/Showtime), starring Andy Lincoln. Alice is passionate about talent development and in 2018 created SISTER’s Writer in Residence scheme, devoted to developing the voices of writers new to television. Prior to joining Sister she worked at Drama Republic and had a whole other career in reality television that she still likes to dine out on.
