The Network at Work

Diverse new talent for hire

The Network at Work builds on the success of The Network by supporting its most talented delegates with the next step of their career, and gaining those all important first jobs in TV. The Network’s aim is to provide an ‘access for all’ scheme for those interested in a career in television, no matter their background.

If you’re a broadcaster or an indie, The Network at Work can also help you identify and employ new talent, who your job opportunities might not normally reach.

How it works

As part of our free service, we’ll work with you to advertise entry-level roles to our Network at Work pool; pre-sift applications and recommend the best candidates for the job, according to your specifications. All we ask is that the position is paid, and ideally a placement of longer than 2 months.

Once your company has registered its interest in being part of The Network at Work, we’ll also provide you with access to the CVs from across the pool.

For more information on how we can help you, contact Sarah Vignoles, Talent Schemes Producer on Sarah.Vignoles@thetvfestival.com.

Julia Waring, Head of Production Talent, RDF

“RDF has been taking part in The Network at Work scheme since 2007 and it has been great to give a grounding in the industry to such talented young people by incorporating them into our intern scheme. I look forward each year to meeting the candidates that you put forward; the choosing is the hard part as your selection process is so good that it makes it very difficult to pick just one candidate. I look forward to welcoming Network new entrants for many years to come.”
