Originally from sunny(ish) Bognor Regis, Rosie moved to London to pursue a career in documentary filmmaking. Her recent documentary ‘Disabled not Defeated’ for VICE was BAFTA-nominated, and also saw her nominated for Debut Director at Edinburgh TV Festival’s New Voices Awards.
Having also edited current affairs content for BBC World News, produced short films for BBC Digital and worked in development, she’s a versatile filmmaker whose work has been screened in cinemas nationwide, at Sheffield Doc Fest and Aesthetica.
In her spare time, she volunteers for Croydon charity ‘Club Soda’, is currently learning BSL and enjoys walking her rescue greyhound.
Rosie aims to direct powerful documentaries that amplify untold stories and challenge perceptions. She also hopes to help work towards a more transparent, neurodiverse industry.
