CDN exists to enable the UK Broadcasting industry to increase diversity and inspire inclusion both on and off screen. We work with our members towards a broadcasting industry with equality at its core. We manage Diamond, the world’s first and original online diversity data collection system, for the UK television and broadcasting industry.
Our research shows the industry is very behind on inclusivity for disabled people. So, as the official accessibility partner of the festival, we’re making it accessible to the widest audience ever this year. For the first time, features like captioning and sign language will make the festival more accessible for disabled people. We’re leading the way on making the TV industry more inclusive. Our Doubling Disability campaign aims to help the industry reach the target of doubling employment of disabled people off-screen by the end of 2021.
