This has given me the chance to meet and engage with so many amazing people inside and outside my cohort. I have been in touch with people who have contacted me as a direct result of my time on the scheme and it has given me a massive amount of confidence when it comes to finding my place in the industry.

 

I had a brilliant time meeting so many different people from all different parts of the industry, it made me realise how big and varied the TV landscape is. I loved meeting the others on my cohort, it was brilliant to have so many exciting people in the room with their own stories and journeys to tell. It was a privilege to count myself among this year’s cohort and I hope to keep in touch and have a meaningful network for life.

 

I had an amazing time seeing the panels, my highlight was definitely the discussion on class with such a strong panel. I am so glad that the festival is focussing on representation across class to make the industry better reflect the people it serves.
