This programme has really helped me build a series of new strands to my professional network. Not only do I have a top industry mentor who has been supportive and helpful since day 1, but having 24 other people in the same boat to discuss the industry with has proven to be extremely valuable.

 

I loved the festival. Getting the opportunity to meet a range of different people from such a variety of corners of the industry and hear about how they work and how their work is changing was really interesting. I had the opportunity to listen to and meet with industry figures that I would never normally ever get to interact with. Everyone in the industry should attend the TV Festival at least once in their career.

 

My favourite moment was the closed door sessions with industry leaders – they were unfiltered and refreshingly honest. Another highlight was supporting my peers on the Random Acts pitch – those who were chosen to pitch did incredible jobs and it was a privilege to hear their very personal ideas.
