Edinburgh TV Festival 2025: get involved

The Edinburgh TV Festival is proudly delivered by the industry for the industry. Each year we consult closely with the industry on themes and topics, and also rely on a team of dedicated professionals from across the industry to produce our sessions, ensuring that the programme is of the highest editorial quality and reflects the conversations the industry wants to have.

Besides buying a pass and joining us in Edinburgh, there are various ways you can contribute to shaping this year’s Festival: submit an idea for a session or speaker, apply to be a session producer or attend one of our nationwide town hall meetings, where you’ll have an opportunity to talk to the Festival team and feed in thoughts on what you think we should be covering this year.

Apply to be a Session Producer

Do you want to play a role in bringing the Edinburgh TV Festival to life? All our sessions are produced by volunteers from across the industry, ensuring we remain by the industry, for the industry. It’s an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the conversation in the industry at the highest level, as well as building your profile and network. In return for their hard work, producers receive a free Festival pass.

Attend a Town Hall

This year we’re launching a series of nationwide Town Hall meetings where we can hear from the industry directly. This will be your opportunity to put forward any themes or topics you’d like to see discussed and learn more about how you can get involved.

These meetings will take place in Cardiff, Glasgow, Belfast and London, as well as online, during March. Anyone is welcome to attend, but you will need to sign up so we can keep track of capacity.
