Edinburgh TV Festival 2025: get involved
The Edinburgh TV Festival is proudly delivered by the industry for the industry. Each year we consult closely with the industry on themes and topics, and also rely on a team of dedicated professionals from across the industry to produce our sessions, ensuring that the programme is of the highest editorial quality and reflects the conversations the industry wants to have.
Besides buying a pass and joining us in Edinburgh, there are various ways you can contribute to shaping this year’s Festival: submit an idea for a session or speaker, apply to be a session producer or attend one of our nationwide town hall meetings, where you’ll have an opportunity to talk to the Festival team and feed in thoughts on what you think we should be covering this year.

Do you have an idea for a session that you’d like to see as part of the Edinburgh programme this year? Is there a subject you’d love to see debated, an important industry issue you’d like to see raised or just a favourite show that you’d like to see dissected? We want to hear from you!
Would you like to suggest a speaker for the Festival? We welcome suggestions for speakers for a number of different formats, including keynotes, fireside chats or as an expert speaker on a panel. You are welcome to nominate yourself!
Do you want to play a role in bringing the Edinburgh TV Festival to life? All our sessions are produced by volunteers from across the industry, ensuring we remain by the industry, for the industry. It’s an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the conversation in the industry at the highest level, as well as building your profile and network. In return for their hard work, producers receive a free Festival pass.
This year we’re launching a series of nationwide Town Hall meetings where we can hear from the industry directly. This will be your opportunity to put forward any themes or topics you’d like to see discussed and learn more about how you can get involved.
These meetings will take place in Cardiff, Glasgow, Belfast and London, as well as online, during February and March. Anyone is welcome to attend, but you will need to sign up so we can keep track of capacity. Further details and information on how to attend will be announced in the coming weeks.
