New Voice Awards FAQS
Entering The Awards
The 2026 Awards will open for submissions on November 11th 2025.
The early bird submissions deadline is on December 12th 2025 and all applications will close on January 12th 2026.
For the Debut Director, Writer and Presenter categories you will need to upload your submission to the entry platform. An uploaded video file is preferred. But if this isn’t possible for you, you can provide a link to the episode instead.
Wherever possible, this should be on an account (Dropbox/ WeTransfer/ Vimeo/ YouTube etc) which you control. We will also accept URL links to the programme on iPlayer etc. Please ensure the link remains live until the end of March 2026 and that it is not behind a paywall for a subscription service – if the link doesn’t work OR we can’t access it, we can’t assess or shortlist your entry.
Please note: if you are shortlisted, we will require your submission as a high-quality download for use on the awards night.

Programmes entered must have been released and broadcast within the eligibility period of January 01 2025 – December 31 2025.
All evidence provided must also be from within the same period.

Award Fees
The entry fee covers the costs associated with processing your entry. We cannot typically give any refunds but may do so in some circumstances at the discretion of management. Please contact awards@thetvfestival.com or call 02072789515.
Refunds are not permitted after the submission deadline date.
The preferred payment method is online via credit card. Payment by BACS is also permitted. Please refer to the details on the invoice.
All major credit cards are accepted, including American Express.
The entry fee must be paid in pounds sterling.
- If you are unable to pay the entry fee, email awards@thetvfestival.com and we will waive the cost.
Award Judging
The winner will be selected by a jury of TV industry professionals.
The shortlist will be announced on February 12th 2026.
We will notify all shortlisted entrants by email beforehand, before the full list goes live on our website. Unfortunately, due to the volume of entries we receive we cannot notify individual entrants who did not make the shortlist.
The awards ceremony will take place on March 12th 2026, in London.
