ConnectED speed meetings give delegates exclusive access to the top national and international commissioners, distributors, producers, and co-production partners. These pre-booked slots give delegates a unique opportunity to have ten-minute speed meetings with executives who could bring their ideas to life.

Meeting Requests

First, choose which hosts you’d like to meet from our Host Hub. Then, follow the link on their profile to the meeting request form. Complete the form and you will see a ‘thank you’ screen and receive a confirmation email shortly afterwards. You will need to complete a new form for each host you wish to meet with.

The meetings are scheduled according to the availability of the hosts. We hope you’ll make space in your calendar to attend your meetings as we are unable to accommodate individual requests to reschedule.

You will be sent a confirmation of your meeting(s) OR that you are placed on the waiting list on Thursday 15 August. We will contact you on the email address you used to register your request.

We cannot guarantee all meeting requests will be granted but we’ll do our best to match delegates with at least one of their chosen hosts and/or a host who works in the same field.
The speed meetings are part of the whole Festival experience and take place in the Festival venue. As such, meetings are available to pass holders only.

When you request a meeting, we will cross reference your name with the delegate list. If your name doesn’t appear, unfortunately we will not be able to accept your request. With that in mind, please buy your pass before applying for meetings.

At Your Meeting

The meetings will be held at Platform 5 Café in the EICC – follow signs from Registration.
Your meeting will be ten minutes long. Please arrive at Platform 5 Café at least five minutes before the start of your meeting so we can seat you in good time.
The meetings are a chance for a one-on-one conversation, so delegates will have to fly solo.

ConnectED meetings are only available to registered delegates.
