Kem Cetinay, the winner of last summer’s hottest TV phenomenon, burst onto our screens on the smash hit show Love Island. A cheeky chap from Essex, Kem captivated the nation with his humour, palpable charm and sensitivity. His infectious bromance with Chris Hughes became television gold and viewers watched as the pair supported each other through the up’s and down’s of finding love in the villa.
Off the back of the hit television debut, Kem and Chris went on to star in their own successful ITV2 spin off show Straight Outta Love Island, that followed their friendship and joint passions for music and rap. The show aired in October and showed the pair performing to a sell-out crowd at the infamous Ministry of Sound, with a track they created whilst filming for the show. They were signed by Sony/Relentless Records and released their track ‘Little Bit Leave It’ which went straight into the iTunes chart at number 1 and was the highest week 1 chart position for a debut artist of the year.
In 2018, Kem has been busy on Dancing on Ice, bringing infectious energy and showmanship to every routine. He reached the Semi Finals and placed 4th in the competition.
Prior to Kem’s appearance on Love Island, he had a successful career as a barber gathering a strong following for his hairdressing talents.
