Dan Winch spent the early part of his career as a first assistant director when he worked on a mixture of drama and features including award-winning productions – BOY A with director John Crowley, TYRANNOSAUR with writer/director Paddy Considine, THE MARK OF CAIN with director Marc Munden, APPROPRIATE ADULT with director Julian Jarrold and SWIMMER with writer/director Lynne Ramsay.

Dan’s producing debut was in collaboration with BBC Films founder, David M Thompson on BBC Films/Origin Pictures/Lionsgate UK’s comedy feature WHAT WE DID ON OUR HOLIDAY, written & directed by Guy Jenkin and Andy Hamilton.

In 2016 Dan worked with Executive Producer Jane Featherstone & her newly created production company ‘Sister Pictures’ to produce the final series of Chris Chibnall’s acclaimed BROADCHURCH; the first episode of which attracted ITV’s biggest UK drama audience since DOWNTON ABBEY with a consolidated figure of 10.7 million. The final series of Broadchurch went on to be rated the most watched UK television drama of 2017.
