As the UK MD, FNG Jeff Ford is responsible for the strategic direction and development of the UK FNG brands including FOX, National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo WILD and Baby TV as well as responsibilities for all National Geographic’s commercial activities in the UK. Ford also has responsibility for developing and producing distinctive bold, original scripted entertainment for the FNG Europe brand.
Ford’s career spans 20 years, holding senior positions in a variety of commercial Television networks. Previous to joining FNG in April 2015 Ford was Director of Content for the Irish network TV3, responsible for content strategy and output. Prior to this, Ford’s roles included Director of Programmes at Channel 5, re-establishing Big Brother and launching 5 USA, Director of Acquisitions at Channel 4 acquiring Ugly Betty and The Big Bang Theory and Controller, Network Acquisitions for ITV Network Centre.
Ford also serves as a member of the Advisory Committee for the Edinburgh International Television Festival.
