Ed Havard is the head of Entertainment, Events and Sport at Channel 4. In his role as the head of this cross genre department, he oversees hundreds of hours of programming including The Last Leg, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, The Crystal Maze, Stand Up To Cancer, Alan Carr’s Chatty Man, The Paralympics and Formula One. Previous commissions include The Alternative Election Night, TFI Friday and 10 O’Clock Live. He began his career in BBC News and Current Affairs at the BBC, where he was the Editor of BBC One’s Question Time and produced a range of major news and current affairs programmes and events.
