Pinki Chambers is an Entertainment Commissioning Editor at the BBC. Her remit involves developing and  commissioning new content across BBC1, BBC2 and BBC3. Recent credits include BBC2’s new comedy satire show The Mash Report which launched on the channel in July.

Pinki has also overseen flagship entertainment programmes in the UK such as Have I Got News for You (BBC1), Would I Lie to You? (BBC1), A Question of Sport (BBC1),  Mock the Week (BBC2), University Challenge (BBC2), Let’s Play Darts for Comic Relief (BBC2), Murder in Successville (BBC3). She also oversees the BAFTA Awards and associated programming and looked after the National Lottery for BBC1. Prior to this she was an Executive Producer within the department, providing editorial support on productions such as QI, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Russell Howard’s Good News. Pinki has also held a Development Editor role and started at the BBC within Drama Commissioning Legal and Business Affairs.
