The Edinburgh International Conference Centre is located in the heart of Edinburgh. It is excellently positioned for delegates visiting from within the UK, Europe or the rest of the world due to its central position and excellent transport links to all of the UK’s major cities and airports.
Edinburgh has excellent links to the rest of the UK including direct trains from major UK cities including Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Newcastle with over 25 daily departures from London. Direct trains from London Kings Cross to Haymarket Station takes roughly 4.5 hours, with costs varying on the time travelling.
Edinburgh Airport operates domestic, European and transcontinental flights including budget airlines. The airport is 8 miles from the EICC. Lothian Buses provide public transportation to the airport with the Airlink 100 express bus from Edinburgh city centre. Additionally, Stagecoach operates the newly formed JET express bus service. The airport is served by Edinburgh Trams, a light rail link from the terminal to Edinburgh city centre.
