Welcome to Edinburgh 2016

We’ve filled the first day full of must-see sessions, top networking opportunities and of course the renowned MacTaggart Lecture that will be delivered this year by the founder and CEO of VICE, Shane Smith.

Not only are Charlotte Moore and Jay Hunt taking to the stage in their ‘Meet the Controller’ sessions, but we also have Lee Mack running through his top desert island comedy; The Edinburgh special of Taskmaster with Greg Davies and Alex Horne; and in the build up to the Paralympics, RJ Mitte will be discussing whether attitudes have shifted towards disability since London 2012.  See the full programme here.

Don’t forget to download the new Festival app to keep up to date on the move (instructions below) and to check out a programme of top exclusive screenings at the Filmhouse, just 2 mins walks from the EICC.  All are free to delegates, just take your session pass.  See here for details.

And if you’ve not booked in for a speed meeting yet, there’s still a few drop in appointments left.  See here for info.
