And our TV pick of the week… BBC 4’s Dectorists, written, directed by and starring Mackenzie Crook. The second season trailer, which sends up the Hollywood blockbusters Crook previously starred in, can be found here ahead of its UK premiere tonight. Produced by Channel X North and Lola Entertainment, the Bafta winning series, follows two middle-aged eccentrics digging up the English countryside, in the hope of finding Anglo-Saxon gold. You can read more on the genesis of the series here.

Also, watch the trailer for war drama The Man in the High Castle. The new drama from Ridley Scott and Frank Spotnitz, is based on Philip K. Dick’s novel of the same name and chillingly imagines an alternate world history in which the Axis powers won WWII. It airs on Amazon in November.
